Arithmetico-geometric Sequence:

If a , (a+d) , (a+2d), (a+3d)….. are in Arithmetic progression and ar , ar^2 , ar^3 , ar^4 . . .

Are in geometric progression then a new sequence which is in the form of:

 

(a+d)r , (a+2d)r^2 , (a+3d)r^3 . . . is known as the arithmetico-geometric Sequence

or arithmetico-geometric progression.
