Linear pair of angles



Linear pair of angles:

Two adjacent angles are said to

form a linear pair of angles if their

non commercial arcs are two opposite

rays.

If a transversal C intersects two parallel

lines a and b then.

i> Each pair of interior alternate angles are equal.

ii> Each pair of consecutive interior angles are supplementary.

Note:converse of (i) and (ii) is also true.
