Orthogonal Cartesian Co-ordinate
Orthogonal Cartesian Co-ordinate:
Orthogonal Cartesian Co-ordinate is a system
of Cartesian coordinate in a plane. It established
a biunivocal relationship between points in the
plane and pair of real numbers.
The pair of number x and y written as (x,y)
represents the position of the point in a plane
with reference to an arbitrarily choosen origin
o,which is the point of intersection of two
mutually perpendicular lines XOX’ and YOY’
known as x-axis and y-axis respectively.
